The Almaera Carmenjia A2 System - Solar System Map
This map was an experiment for me using my own lore. An all vector sci-fi map, with the exception of the texture overlay of the galaxy painting and the glows on the stars. The setting is my own. This map was done for a Cartographer's Guild challenge, map a solar system. Since I was quite busy with a commission that month, I ended up doing something relatively simple, or so I thought. Placing all those stars one by one took forever though and then I added the detail of a semi-accurate world map for both main setting planets... whew. Plus the back side of Carmen didn't even exist before this map. And then all of the stars are named in both English and in Ekaeli, just to... just to make it more fun.
Ultimately this map isn't quite, I feel, finished. I wanted to fill in the whole background with Ekaeli writing as a texture and just never took it that extra distance. Commissions take priority. But I still wanted to post it!

The galaxy spiral is taken from this earlier map of the whole galaxy as discovered and populated later in the timeline in C12.
The northern hemisphere of stars (layout by my cowriter but art by me). We had a different approach to our layout. She laid it out by scattering random dots and then connecting them and I intentionally made constellation shapes.
